about me
My mother, Carmen, introduced me to yoga in the 1960’s as part of my early childhood education. Yoga has become my roadmap for living on and off the mat. I practice to cultivate equanimity, and flexibility and strength of mind, body, and spirit. Yoga gives me a sense of authority over my own body and this embodied confidence is something I seek to pass along to my students. As a 500 hour registered yoga teacher, my intention is to create welcoming, easeful space. In my classes I guide movers to adapt their practices to their skill level while building strength, improving balance, celebrating the magic of their bodies, and tapping into joy. My goal is to promote yoga as an accessible practice consisting of meditation, breathing, yoga postures and ethical principles guidance that’s beneficial for all.
weekly class schedule
My modified, gentle yoga classes are designed for those who wish to explore yoga on and off the mat (oftentimes using a chair as a prop), as well as for those looking to improve their strength, balance and body confidence. Expect to improve flexibility and power with this adaptive class. Adults over the age of 55 are centered.

corporate wellness
Chair yoga is great for everyone but particularly for “desk warriors”, people who are largely confined to their desks during the workday. In my class we will co-cultivate resilience, explore spinal movements, build core strength, and flexibility through accessible seated and standing postures.
